In any disaster, there are critical needs that must be addressed. From registered nurses to carpenters/handymen, drivers, cooks, office clerks, IT professionals and more. We are consistently looking for anyone willing to serve with selfless dedication to improving the lives of others by answering the call when crisis situations arise.
Heartland is looking for individuals who would like to be part of our Compassion Care Response Team. These individuals may serve as supplemental support to a facility’s typical staff, as replacement for absent staff, or be put on standby for deployment as needed.
If you are interested in joining a Compassion Care Response Team or would like to learn more about how you can serve God's Kingdom and make a difference when and where it is needed most, please complete the online Heartland Response Disaster Response Network form by following the 4 steps below.
Attend a live Basic Chaplain/Basic Responder training course. Check the EVENTS page on the Heartland Response website for dates, costs, and location of this course. This training is required for both Chaplaincy and/or Responder candidates.
