Midwest Flooding Disaster Relief

Current Information

Heartland Response is forging relationships with numerous ministries and organizations in the affected areas, and networking with other faith-based crisis and disaster relief organizations to assist in this massive relief and recovery effort.

Flooding in the Midwest US is at record levels, and according to many weather experts, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), matters are likely to get worse yet.   “This is shaping up to be a potentially unprecedented flood season, with more than 200 million people at risk for flooding in their communities,” said Ed Clark, director of NOAA’s National Water Center, in a press release. That represents about 60 percent of all Americans.
